Contact the Box Office at 902-532-7704 to register.
Coco Love Alcorn has always followed her spirit, but never so literally as with her latest album, Wonderland. The songs spring from her personal journey, but true to her nature, Coco offers a universal interpretation that invites all listeners to jump in and sing along.During a 5 year break from heavy touring to raise her daughter Ellie, Coco began working on a new album. She wanted to explore songwriting from a new perspective. Coco was curious to see what would happen if she put down her guitar and wrote with just her voice. She began a journey of layering vocals and rhythms on a 5 track looper. In the fall of 2014 she released a video of herself performing one of these first looper layered songs, ‘The River’.

Everything I’ve ever done has led me to here. To Wonderland, a collection of songs that are an invitation to connect, an invitation to sing, and an invitation to myself to dig deeper than ever before.”  ~ Coco Love Alcorn

“Coco is the ultimate musical spark plug… an electrical connector through which the creative energy flows. In my 30 years of touring around the world, I have never seen another performer able to bring people together like Coco does.” – James Keelaghan – Artist Director, Summerfolk and renowned Canadian singer/ songwriter

During the battle, Clara saves the Nutcracker’s life – so breaking a magical spell that turned him from a boy to a toy – and the Mouse King is defeated. In celebration, Drosselmeyer sweeps Clara and the Nutcracker off to the Kingdom of Sweets, where they meet the Sugar Plum Fairy and take part in a wonderful display of dances. ROBBIE BURNS NIGHT SCOTCH N HAGGIS 2019
Jan 25 @ 6:00 pm
Tickets are limited so be sure to get yours in advance!!
ou can expect bagpipes, expert scotch-tasting, themed delicacies, odes with a twist, and much more.
Bagpipes with Kim Gunn & David Kirk.
Founder’s House Head Chef Chris Pyne will offer:
  • Cheese and Charcuterie Board: House-made meats, pickles, crackers, and croustini with some great local cheeses.
  • House-made Haggis: Mashed potatoes, turnip (Neeps & Tatties), carrots with a whisky onion gravy.
  • Bread Pudding with toffee sauce.
Whisky Sommelier Leslee Fredricks of the NSLC will lead a sampling of some of the finest scotches you’ll find. She offers a short blurb on two of the single malts we will be tasting:
  • Tamdhu 10 YO – This is a Speyside Malt that possesses more colour than you would expect from a 10 year old single malt. (The age statement reflects the youngest whiskey in the bottle, so there may be some older whisky in the blend). The malt was aged 10 years exclusively in Sherry casks, so expect some significant fruit and woodiness. The nose is complex and the palate is wonderfully sweet and smooth.
  • Craigellachie 13 YO – Another Speyside Malt, Craigellachie is considered a traditionally made Single Malt using traditional equipment, producing a whisky that is a bit of a departure from a typical Speyside Malt. Craigellachie is viscous and complex with explosive fruit and a hint of smoke. Very few single malt expressions have been released by this distillery, so get ready for a real treat.

The event will take place at the NEW EVENT SPACE at Fort View Golf Course. Tickets are available through King’s Theatre.

TICKETS are $60 each (or $30 without the scotch-tasting)

This is a fundraiser for King’s Theatre.
